Interim report January - September 2024
Today, MIDAQ presents its interim report for January – September 2024.
MIDAQ has today acquired 100% of the shares in Stemo AB and Stemo GmbH from Agne and Britt Johansson.
Stemo manufactures, develops, and sells plastic storage boxes for industry, healthcare, shops, and offices under its own Stemo brand. The products are sold through distributors and resellers in the European market, and the business is conducted in Mullsjö and Rödermark, located outside Frankfurt in Germany. Sales for the most recent financial year amounted to approx. SEK 30 million.
-With MIDAQ as the new owner, we get a long-term and good solution for Stemo, which has the opportunity to continue to grow in a well-fitting environment, says Agne Johansson, CEO of Stemo.
-The acquisition is entirely in line with our strategy to build the Industry business area with companies with strong brands and their own products. We look forward to taking care of, and continuing to develop a very well-run company, says Stefan Engdahl, CEO of MIDAQ AB.
-At the same time as Stemo is acquired, an internal restructuring is being carried out within MIDAQ. Simons Industrier, a blow molds plastic and boat fittings manufacturer, is transferred to MIDAQ Industry and is thus placed in the same business area as Stemo. The business area will get a flying start, says Ulf Johansson, CEO OF MIDAQ Industry.
We warmly welcome Stemo AB and Stemo GmbH to MIDAQ!
